Are you interested in serving through short-term mission trips? If so, consider joining Hand of Hope in a future outreach opportunity.
Every 3~4 years, HOH takes a team of 15 ~ 20 individuals for a 2-week mission trip to Ethiopia. The next team trip is tentatively scheduled for the summer of 2021. Depending on the availability of volunteers, a small team goes yearly for 2 weeks to encourage evangelists as well as HOH Children.

2019 Women's Trip
On July 4, 2019 this group of ladies headed to Kenya for 2 weeks of ministry. What an incredible time it was.

On July 4, 2019 this group of ladies headed to Kenya for 2 weeks of ministry. What an incredible time it was.
Following is a list of what the team was involved with:
- Women of Worth Conference - Marsabit, Kenya: The team held a 3-day conference for women at a conference center on the outskirts of Marsabit. The center provided the perfect setting for the 24 women who attended to be able to focus on their worth in God's eyes without the distractions of their busy lives and responsibilities.
- Mwangaza Top View Academy Grand Opening Ceremony: The team represented Hand of Hope at the Grand Opening Ceremony of Mwangaza Top View Academy.
- Met with Hand of Hope Orphans & Caretakers: Hand of Hope currently sponsors more than 40 children in Kenya. Team members were able to meet some of these children,, share a meal with them, pray for them, and just love on them!!
- Worship Service in Isiolo: Team members were able to spend sweet time with a partner church of Hand of Hope in Isiolo. Team member, Cindy Manginelli, shared a short, but powerful message with the small congregation. The highlight of the evening was when team members were given the opportunity to pray over each church member -- from the little babies up to the adults.
Women's Conference: Women of Worth - Kenya
The Women's Conference held in Marsabit this summer was a first for Hand of Hope. The team arrived in Marsabit and after a day of preparations, welcomed 24 women from various parts of northern Kenya for a 3-day conference entitled Women of Worth. Our goal was for these women to understand that they are loved deeply by God and that their value and worth in God's sight is not because of the title they have or the role they play in serving, but simply because they are who they are created by Him and that alone is where their worth comes from!

The Maria Mfariji House of Prayer Shrine located on top of a mountain on the outskirts of Marsabit, Kenya was the perfect setting for the women's conference.

Team members arrived a day before the conference in order to get settled into the facility and get everything set up to be ready to welcome the ladies!

Women of Worth - Kenya
The 3-day Women of Worth Conference was an incredible time. Twenty-four women attended the conference and enjoyed times of learning truths in God's word about who we are as women, listening to team members share their stories and how God shows up in the midst of our messes, worshiping together, and spending time in fellowship together. Cultural and language boundaries disappeared as the bond that comes from our shared love for Christ brought all of us together.

Isiolo - Visit with Rehoboth Christian FellowshipHand of Hope team members were able to spend a sweet time of ministry with members of Rehoboth Christian Fellowship in Isiolo. Team member, Cindy Manginelli shared a message from God's word that was followed by team members praying over each member of the congregation. This young church is led by Pastor Salad.
