The 2018 Mission Team ministered in Ethiopia and Kenya from July 6th thru 20th. The team of 14 was considerably smaller than previous teams; however God knew what His plans were for the trip and the team was able to successfully accomplish all that it set out to!
Following is a list of what the team was involved with:
Vacation Bible School - Ethiopia: The team held a 3-day VBS for nearly 300 children in Mega, Ethiopia. (our plan was for 200.... but God's plan was much bigger than ours!)
Vacation Bible School - Kenya: The team held a 3-day VBS for 270 children in at Mwangaza Top View Academy in Golole, Kenya. This was a first for the team!

Encouraged New Partner Church in Dukem: Team members were able to spend a short time with HOH's new partner church in Dukem, Ethiopia. We had the opportunity to meet the new evangelist who will be going out from this church.

Summer 2014 Mission Trip
The 2014 Mission Team ministered in Ethiopia from June 27th ~ July 12th. The team of 23 was the largest group that HOH has ever had for a mission trip. Having such a large group allowed for the team to split into smaller teams and a lot was accomplished over the 2-week period. Following is a list of all that the team was involved with:
Vacation Bible School: The team held a 3-day VBS for 200 children in Mega, Ethiopia.
Mini-VBS in the Countryside: The team held a one-day 'mini' VBS in the villages of Gaayo, Dhaadach Dhaaba, Saarite, and Deeda Jaarsa. God moved mightily through this outreach and several people accepted Christ as their personal Savior!
Evangelist Training: Phil Dillingham, Pastor of Priest Lake Christian Fellowship (PLCF) in Antioch, Tennessee, along with PLCF member Dan Midgett, held a 3-day Seminar for evangelists serving in southern Ethiopia.
Church Building Project: Team members will had the opportunity to serve churches in some remote villages by building some benches to be used in their worship services.
Met the Hand of Hope Orphans: Hand of Hope Ministries currently sponsors 62 children in Ethiopia and Kenya. The team were able to meet some of these children, share a meal with them, pray for them, and just love on them!!
Meseret Children Home Repair: Team members were able to bless the Meseret children by making some much needed repairs to their home. Four of the five Meseret children live together in the home they once shared with their mother and father. Their mother passed away in 2010 and their father a few years before. The Meseret children are cared for under HOH's Children's Program.
Youth Rally: The team held a youth conference in Yavello.
Encouraged Evangelists: Team members were able to spend time with some of the 15 evangelists supported by HOH.
